I ordered this Boss Audio System MC300 to replace a rather poor quality unit made by shark. This system is very compact and seems to be doing better than the other Asian systems product. the compact size, built-in amplifier and wired volume control knob were big selling points for me. volume control actually works from "dumb" full volume (or "11" this is Spinal Tap). the installation was very easy and the results are just what I wanted. the sound quality
